Two important international conferences focused on hydraulics and the challenge of sustainability
Last June, two important international conferences took place in Lyon (France) and Trento (Italy): the 3rd edition of the I.S. River conference (Lyon, 4-8 June 2018 – www.graie.org) and the 5th edition of the IAHR Europe conference (Trento, 12-14 June 2018 – event.unitn.it/iahr2018).
Both the events were focused on hydraulics and the challenge of sustainability. The WEQUAL project was presented at both the conferences, with an audience composed by professors, researchers, experts, practitioners and stakeholders.
The presentations were welcomed with interest and appreciation. These two events turned out to be stimulating in discussing sustainability of river training works and ecological role of green infrastructures. The abstracts can be found by the following link.
